Ora Meir Soffer – Founder, Ora Meir-Soffer is the chairman of the Board of Directors of Chip PC. Ora co-founded the company with Aviv Soffer in 2000 with the idea of bringing new paradigms and solutions to the evolving computing market. Under Ora's leadership, following several years as Chip PC CEO, Chip PC materialized as a leader for emerging computing solutions in the fields of server-based computing and desktop virtualization. Prior to Chip PC, Ora was founder and CEO for a company in the marketing field. Ora's degrees include Business Administration from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology. Ora focuses on Chip PC strategic directions bringing with her vast experience in the fields of business development and international marketing & sales. Aviv Soffer – Founder, Director Aviv Soffer is a Director of Chip PC, the company he co-founded with Ora Meir-Soffer in 2000 with the idea of bringing new paradigms and solutions to the evolving computing market. Under Aviv's leadership, following several years as Chip PC Inc. CEO, Chip PC materialized as a leader for emerging computing solutions in the fields of server-based computing and desktop virtualization. Aviv navigated the company's R&D to take prime position in developing market-leading products. A serial and experienced entrepreneur of technology companies, Aviv owns vast R&D experience in various fields, to name a few: Military, High-Security computers, E-learning devices, Avionic Systems, Digital Games and more. Aviv holds B.Sc in Electronics Engineering and B.Sc in Aeronautics Engineering from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology. Aviv is a flight instructor and airline transport pilot.
Chief Executive Officers
Dani Naor, VP Sales Americas & Strategic Alliances Dani brings with over 20 years of experience in the international high tech industry, covering a wide range of positions and offering highest levels of proficiency. Dani's professional expertise covers virtualization, networking and storage. Dani has worked for large companies, such as LSI, Intelligent Information Systems (IIS), Decision Data, Adanet and the Israeli Aircraft Industry (IAI), where he held various senior positions in Engineering, Product Management, Marketing & Sales. Dani was also co-founder of StoreAge, successfully purchased by LSI, where he was responsible as VP Business Development for the company International sales, marketing and business development. At LSI, Dani was responsible for the International s/w virtualization business working closely with channels, OEMs and Strategic Alliances. His experience also includes over 8 years of R&D engineering and team leadership positions at the Aircraft Industry (IAI) and IIS. Dani engineering design and development experience is in the areas of AS400, IBM MF and open systems markets. Dani has earned his B.Sc. in Engineering from SFSU University, USA.
Ronit Pasternak, Director of Marketing As director of marketing, Ronit is responsible for product and corporate marketing including branding, partner marketing and all demand generation for Chip PC innovative portfolio. Ronit has been Marketing Communications manager for Chip PC for the past 5 years. Prior to Chip PC, Ronit specialized in marketing and software Human Interface in Avionitek Avionic Systems and worked as senior market researcher at Marketing Research firm. Ronit holds an M.Sc in Industrial Psychology from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology and B.A in Psychology and English Literature and Linguistics from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
Motti Bazar, Executive VP of R&D Motti brings with him more than 20 years of experience and proven track record in leading and managing cross-site, large-scale product development (software/hardware) through the full product life cycle, and on-time high-quality product delivery. Motti's professional expertise covers communications, networking, storage, hardware/software embedded systems and more. His vast experience includes working for large companies, such as Broadcom and Intel, as well as founding and managing start-ups. Motti served in the Israeli Defense Forces as Captain. He has earned his B.Sc. in Computer Science from Bar-Ilan University, Israel and M.Sc. in Computer Engineering from George Washington University, Washington DC, USA. Motti's broad technological knowledge is accompanied by close familiarity with the US, European, and Far East markets and strong commitment to customer and market requirements.
Zohar Vered – VP, PSG (Professional Services Group) Zohar combines both business and technical in-depth knowledge in the server-centric computing/thin client and desktop-virtualization markets. With more than 10 years practical experience, he joined Chip PC 5 years ago as Chip PC Software Products Manager and has taken since responsibility for Chip PC Professional Services Group. Chip PC Professional Services Group covers both technical aspects from service to support and business aspects related to key accounts and project management. Zohar is responsible for the set-up, structuring, organization and management of Chip PC worldwide sales and technical teams covering aspects of product management, projects, support and interface with R & D. Zohar earned a B.A Degree in Economics and Accounting from Tel Aviv University.
Lior Szabo– VP, Chief Systems Architecture As vice president of Systems Architecture, Lior is responsible for building Chip PC's management software architecture based on years of in-field experience in roles of IT management. Lior is a highly qualified IT professional and manager owning in-depth knowledge in the server-centric computing/thin client and desktop-virtualization fields. With more than 10 years practical experience, he is responsible for architecting Chip PC software products to be user-friendly and adapted to user needs by translating those needs to R& D. Prior to joining Chip PC, Lior held executive positions at IT trainer, IT manager and system administrator in various companies. Lior holds a MCSE (Microsoft Certified System Engineer) and Microsoft Certified Trainer degree.
